Shuai Lan, the Community Manager for OnePlus, recently shared an update on Weibo, revealing that the OnePlus 15T is set to launch shortly. The smartphone has been described as a sleek, compact device, marketed as the ultimate “dream phone” for those who prefer smaller options. OnePlus has confirmed that the device is coming soon, but a specific launch date is still under wraps.

OnePlus 15T will support magnetic wireless charging

Recent reports from a well-known Chinese source suggest that the upcoming OnePlus 15T may support magnetic wireless charging. Recent leaks suggest that the device could potentially integrate with Apple’s magnetic charging system, indicating a significant change in the brand’s approach to cross-compatibility.

OnePlus 15T ultra-thin external cooling fan

OnePlus is reportedly set to introduce a sleek external magnetic cooling fan, measuring just 1cm, that can be magnetically attached to the device to enhance thermal efficiency. Moreover, the source claims that the OnePlus 15T will support Apple MagSafe technology. It appears that the device will feature Qi2 magnets, potentially allowing it to outshine the Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup in this regard.

OnePlus 15T Display

Initial leaks suggest the device will feature a 6.32-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and an impressive 165Hz refresh rate, promising enhanced animations and an improved gaming experience.

OnePlus 15T Specs (rumoured)

DCS suggests that the OnePlus 15T will utilise Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device is rumoured to feature an impressive battery capacity ranging from 7,000mAh to 8,000mAh, complemented by 100W wired charging support.

There could be an enhancement in the camera department, potentially upgrading the 15 T’s current 50MP main sensor to an impressive 200MP option. Imagine combining this with a 50MP telephoto lens and a 32MP front-facing camera for stunning selfies.

OnePlus 15T Launch Date

Following its launch in China, the OnePlus 15T is expected to reach India, rebranded as the OnePlus 15s. If that’s the case, the OnePlus 15s is definitely a compact powerhouse to keep an eye on, particularly if you value performance and battery longevity. While there’s no official word on a launch in India, it seems likely the OnePlus 15s will debut here, just as the 13s did. If you’re considering an upgrade from the 13s or eyeing a compact flagship, it might be wise to hold off for the 15s.
